Summary: Peter/Neal. AU set in Eighteenth Century France. Peter is new to Paris, and Neal quickly becomes his friend. But is there an ulterior motive? Based very loosely on Dangerous Liaisons. Includes sex and light kink, trust issues, secret plots, etc.

Why Rec'd: Because, um, WOW. The dialogue is phenomenally smart, and both it and the interactions between Peter/Pierre and Neal/Nicolas take what's best about the show and canon and then weave a beautiful, tension-fraught AU with it, complete with some of the hottest damn UST I think I've ever read (plus white hot sex)!
