Summary: Set post-finale. Neal's drifting, but Mozzie's found an opportunity to take advantage of, one that on the surface doesn't look too risky. Of course, appearances can be deceiving.
(Full disclosure: I beta'd this fic, though I was not otherwise involved with its creation.)

Why rec'd? This is a really wonderful post-finale fic - great plot with lots of action, a very likable OC, and an excellent character study of Neal and his relationships with both Mozzie and Peter.

This is a very convincing look at Peter right after the end of 3x16, trying to balance his need to do his job with his friendship for Neal, and reflecting on the tangled mess of events that have brought them here. I thought it was very fair to all the characters and the complexities of their situation.
