Why rec'd? I loved the fic that this is based on (a sweet little story in which Peter has appendicitis) and this fic expands marvelously upon that, while also being a lovely character study of Neal and a neat look at his friendship with Peter and the way he's started to integrate into Team Suit. This is the author's only White Collar fic (as far as I know) but I really hope it'll be the first of many!
