Why rec'd?: Well, crossovers are in vogue right now, and while this is an older fic, its one of the best I've seen. I only know White Collar, haven't seen Thor or Avengers or any of them, but this story works as well (or at least it did for me) with only having a reasonably good understanding of the underlying Norse mythology. I just really adore this fic--it's gen, and explores Neal's character from a fresh, new somewhat dark angle, while still being fun and keeping the Peter-Neal dynamic alive (although it twists that a bit too).
